Everyday Graphics in Amsterdam
The Animal tapestry will be part of the show Everyday Graphics at the OBA library at Oosterdokskade 143 in Amsterdam, September 3rd to November 22nd 2011.
In the 21st century, designers carry out small and large social discussions, they connect art, design and science together and translate information into image. Through the themes logo, psychedelic, template, portrait and politics, Everyday Graphics shows how designers and their work are connected and how they inspire themselves and others. The exhibition shows the bombardment of images and meanings around us that arose through the explosion of media and proliferation of visual styles.
